Friday end of the day I had a meeting with all the EOD staff about the weekend schedule. I told them that my position, as had been explained previously, was that we needed to remain open and staffed and pounding away through the weekend but that we could go to half staff each day so no one has to work straight through.

After our meeting the team met and decided that most of them want to work both days — so we’ll be up and working pretty much fully staffed for both Saturday and Sunday.

They did decide to change the schedule from 8am-8pm to 10am-10pm so they can sleep a bit later.
